PSYCHOLOGISTS: The California Board of Psychology recognizes and accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for license renewal. **Psychologists outside of California should check with their state and local boards to ensure that ACCME accredited activities are acceptable for renewal.
PHARMACISTS: The California Board of Pharmacy accepts as continuing professional education those courses that meet the standard of relevance to pharmacy practice and have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. For other states, please contact your Board of Pharmacy for details.
San Diego Chapter of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (Provider 57330) is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs. San Diego Chapter of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists maintains responsibility for the program and all its content.
MFTs, LPCCS, LEPs, and LCSWs: This course meets the qualifications for up to 17.5 hours of Continuing Education credit for MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Alcohol and Addiction Counselors: This course is provided by the San Diego Chapter of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Provider approved by CCAPP-EI, provider number 15-16- 249-0618, for up to 17.5 CEH’s.

Linguistic competency is defined as the ability of a physician or surgeon to provide patients who do not speak English or who have limited ability to speak English, direct communication in the patient’s primary language.
