Dr. Brandt is Director of the Parent-Infant & Child Institute in Napa, CA and Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics VF at U.C. Davis Medical School.¬† She teaches and consults around the world. She coordinates the Napa Valley Touchpoints site where her team has trained over 700 providers since 1996. She has assisted in the development of Touchpoint materials, participated on national and international Touchpoints training teams, and serves on the Brazelton Touchpoints Project’s Board of Directors. She co-developed the University of Massachusetts Boston Infant-Parent Mental Health Post-Graduate Certificate Program and has directed the Napa, CA program since 2002. Dr. Brandt is a Child Trauma Academy Fellow with Dr. Bruce Perry and provides consultation and training on child maltreatment worldwide. She is also a NCAST instructor and works in private practice.
